Axel Rodenberg has been appointed new CEO of the Sell GmbH
On the 1st of July 2011, the graduate engineer Axel Rodenberg (47) has been appointed new CEO of the Sell GmbH. The experienced manager is the successor of Mr. Richard Bower, who left the company after the Sale to the Zodiac Aerospace Group.
Mr. Rodenberg studied mechanical engineering at the Technical University of Braunschweig. In 1990, he began his career at Airbus, where until 1993, he was responsible for the work preparations departments of the Hamburg plant. Following this, he spent five years as the managing director of a medium-sized enterprise specializing in plant engineering and construction before returning to Airbus in 1999. Recommencing his work again in Hamburg, he later left for Toulouse, where he initially was responsible for all cross functional program tasks. Before starting his work at Sell, Mr. Rodenberg became head of the Airbus plant in Laupheim, beginning in 2005, and after the factory sale he became CEO of Diehl Aircabin GmbH.
