Announcement from Premium Aircraft Interiors Group

After a prolonged industrial relations dispute with the Sell workforce a consensus agreement has been reached between the management of Premium Aircraft Interiors Group the Sell GmbH, and the Sell workforce. The dispute centred around future employment prospects for the Herborn site employees.

An agreement on all issues, signed by management and the Sell Workers Council in Herborn, on Thursday July 2nd, underpins the importance that the company and its employees attach to restoring normal working to the site. Ensuring the satisfaction of all customers through on-time delivery is critical to re-building and maintaining Sell’s position as a market leader in the aircraft interiors industry.

Chief Executive of Premium Aircraft Interiors Group, Paul Carter said: “The progress we achieved during a difficult year in 2008 can now continue and all of us look forward to renewing our relationships and restoring confidence in our customers by ensuring that we deliver on time at the right quality, every time.
Although the future outlook for our business is clouded by the current economic uncertainty, we believe that the strength of our employees’ skills, the quality of our products and the ability of our customers to invest in new aeroplanes, will lead to a mutually beneficial future for all of us.”
