Frank Vehlen has been appointed President & CEO of the Sell GmbH
The Sell GmbH is pleased to announce the appointment of Frank Vehlen as the new President & CEO.
He joined Sell in September 2007. The experienced Manager assumes the succession of Jonathan Findler, who was the Interim Manager of the Sell GmbH.
After receiving his engineering degree in Cologne and completing a postgraduate course in international marketing, Mr. Vehlen started his career with Rheinmetall AG. He was assigned to their Heimann Systems security detection division, responsible for strategic marketing and business development. In 1998, he and moved to the United States where he spent seven years as Executive Vice President and COO building the security and baggage inspection business up to a leading market position. At the end of 2004, he returned to Germany and assumed the position of commercial Managing Director of a privately owned supplier of foundry products for the global automotive industry. He led the company to a sustainable competitive position.
Mr. Vehlen is looking forward to the new tasks and responsibilities at the Sell GmbH as an exciting and challenging time lies ahead. He is confident that he can lead Sell to meet the requirements of the aircraft and airline customers in the currently very demanding and growing global market.
