Sell provides future prospects for 18 young people

Apprentices 2007

On the 3rd of September, Sell welcomed 18 highly motivated new apprentices. Human resources manager Klaus Blasius announced that, for the strategic orientation of Sell, education will always be important. High standards are set for the apprentices, but Sell also provides them with chances to develop excellent skills and offers an interesting and secure workplace with international flair.

From the very beginning, the apprentices participate in a programme providing them with information of all divisions of the enterprise. The head of the works committee, Gerd Spellerberg, sums up: “Due to the high market share, we need qualified junior staff members to meet the requirements of our customers. Especially in the aircraft industry there are increasing complex and complicated specifications. To fulfil these high standards we prefer to educate in house.”

Currently Sell employs 52 apprentices of which 44 work in the industrial sector as aircraft mechanicians, electronic technicans or IT specialists. Six young graduates are trained as industrial clerks and in our subsidiary in Homberg/Ohm two people do their apprenticeship in product design. In addition four people realize their “Studium Plus” programme at Sell.

For the year 2008 we are already looking for new apprentices for the above named careers. If you are interested please send your CV to: Sell GmbH, personnel department, Dr.-Siegfried-Strasse, 35745 Herborn.
